Pepe - Born in the deep south.....way down south........ok ok okay Havana, Cuba. Moved to the US at 8. Lived in Miami, Atlanta, went to military school in Camden SC and lived on a farm in Palmetto, Ga in the mid 70's. Currently lives in Midtown Atlanta. He is single.
Started studying classical guitar in college but fell in love with photography and switched majors. Worked as a pro commercial photographer and is currently a cabinet maker and builds recording studios but is hoping to go back to photography in the near future.
Has a deep love for the rivers and has paddled most of the better known class III+/- rivers in the SE from the New in WV to the Suwanee in Fla/GA. Hopes to do a river photo book in the future. Begining 2004 will be making a more concentrated effort to better document the rivers and start using his pro gear more often to upgrade the technical quality of his river images.

Matt - Born in northern climes, but still hates rolling his canoe in January. Often indicted but never convicted of various misdemeanors and unpopular philosophical stances throughout a troubled adolescence, Matt found stability and a steady paycheck abroad as an auctioneer at Sotheby's London, selling priceless works of art to people who should know better. Moving to Atlanta as part of a quid pro quo "ex parte" agreement, Matt landed on his feet splitting firewood and selling offshore investment opportunities. Elected mayor (in absentia) of Puta Playa, Dominican Republic in the mid-nineties. Granted diplomatic asylum in Pickens County, Georgia, in exchange for certain Y2K "fixes" in the judicial county seat in 1999. He continues to explore remote hideouts along the many beautiful rivers and creeks of the southern appalachians, and is currently organizing an expedition to the Potomac to "find out what's really going on". Hobbies include photography, minor league baseball, and writing short fiction. Paddles an Old Town Appalachian, a Whitesell Descender, and a Mad River Outrage.
